WorldSchoolUK is at an early stage. This notice explains how we use the limited personal information you choose to share through our registration of interest form.

Who is responsible for your information

WorldSchoolUK is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@worldschooluk.com.

What we collect

We collect your name, email address, approximate location (town or county), number of children, their ages or age bands, optional gender mix, previous experience of home-school or worldschool events, and anything you choose to add about your family or event interests.

Please do not send us children’s names, full addresses, medical information or other sensitive personal details.

Why we use it

We use this information to understand interest in WorldSchoolUK, plan suitable community events, and contact you with relevant updates. Our lawful basis is your consent. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

How we keep and share it

We never sell or pass on your details. Form submissions are stored in a secured website database and may also be emailed to the WorldSchoolUK team as a notification. Trusted service providers may process information only where needed to run our website, database and email, or where the law requires it; they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We keep your information only while it is useful for these purposes, and we review the interest list regularly. If WorldSchoolUK does not go ahead, the information will be deleted.

Your rights

UK data protection law gives you rights over your personal information, including asking for a copy, correction or deletion, and withdrawing consent. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
